The scene; Yanchep National Park, Western Australia, 3:30pm, 10th May, 2008. Assembled in and around a pretty white marquee were the eager guests, completely ignoring the wonderful view across the large lake. All were facing back towards the car park in anticipation of Christina's arrival.
Soon, the flower girl, Georgia LANCHBURY, niece of the groom, came into view and everyone eagerly began taking photos of this first sign that the wedding was about to be under way.
And then Christina, her bridesmaids, and her son the ring bearer, Jamie, arrived. Christina was ushered deftly along the red carpet by her father, Alan, to begin the ceremony where Dan was to gain not only a beautiful wife but an adorable pair of sons as well.
It was a lovely informal ceremony, exactly as they had wished. Although the wind was a little chilly, the rain, which had poured down in the morning, stayed away. Even for the photography sessions afterwards. So without further ado, please enjoy the photographs.

Relaxing and having fun at the reception. | |
Unfortunately I did not think at the time to get a photograph of all the Lanchburys present at the wedding
so have decided to paste a photo montage here instead. Such a shame as the moment can never be brought back. |
